The PSP has topped the Japanese hardware chart for the week ending the 13th of April. The latest figures from Media Create show that Sony’s handheld sold 85 721 units, almost double the sales of the Nintendo DS and Wii. Although the PSP experienced a rather steep decline in sales from last week’s 120 964 units, it is still well ahead of the pack. The impending ban on export of steel scheduled to be taken up by the Cabinet Committee on Prices has triggered concerns in the commerce department as they feel that India’s reputation as a reliable supplier would be hit if the trend persists.

Women (and men who are very secure in their self-image) can now carry this wonderful little number that combines a flashlight and 350,000 volts of self-protection. OK, is it just me or is the possibility of a self-inflicted injury pretty impressive here?
